2. Get up and scan
When your alarm rings, the countdown starts. Scan a barcode before time runs out.
The further from bed, the better.
Register your object’s barcode in advance, like a cereal box in the kitchen.

3. We keep none of it.
We choose the charity for now. Being able to pick your own is coming.
No tricks. No loopholes.
Changing your phone clock or switching off your phone doesn’t cancel the deadline.
Your alarm has a server-timed deadline. Scan your registered object before that time to keep your stake.

If you miss the deadline, AlarmRoyale charges your stake and we donate the full amount received by us to charity. Donations are sent every month.

How does the deadline work?
Your alarm has a server-timed deadline. Get up and scan your registered object before that deadline to stop the alarm and keep your stake.
How much of my stake reaches the charity?
Card processing fees are deducted by Stripe before the money reaches us. We keep none of it. AlarmRoyale donates the amount received to charity every month. Stakes are shown in pounds sterling (GBP).
Can I choose the charity?
We choose the charity for now. Being able to pick your own is coming.
Can I get a refund?
If you think a charge is wrong, email info@alarmroyale.com with the details. Please do not send your full card number or security code. See our Cancellation and Refunds page for how to raise a refund request.
Can I cancel?
You can leave the early-access list by emailing info@alarmroyale.com. In the app, you can remove your saved card at any time. Alarms with a stake stop working when you do. There is no subscription today.
What card details do you store?
This website collects your email address only and does not collect card details. Card saving and payment authorisation happen in the app through Stripe.
What if I dispute a charge?
Contact info@alarmroyale.com if you do not recognise a charge or believe it is wrong. You can also contact your card provider about its dispute process.
